Leaning on Hästens 2000T is like resting on all the Hästens experience and tradition. All the lessons learned in our 167 years of searching for the ideal sleep have been applied to this bed. Every deep reflection on the human body, our unique knowledge of natural materials, and five generations of manufacturers: all culminate in *Hästens 2000T.
Such exclusive quality and comfort are unbeatable. And yet each year we challenge ourselves by further refining our methods. Like now, for example. This time we have separated the horsehair into finer but more abundant layers, with even finer layers of cotton and wool between them. Stretching and joining the fibers by hand is an art that requires patience and skill in equal measure. But naturally, that extra effort is worth it. The result is a dream: flexible, lightweight and, in our opinion, a masterpiece of comfort.

To celebrate our 40th anniversary, we challenged the award-winning design duo Bernadotte & Kylberg: a contemporary reinterpretation of the Hästens check pattern. The goal: to take an already exceptional model like the 2000T to another level.
Our expectations were more than fulfilled. In every sense. Its sophisticated cubist-inspired design creates a curious sense of depth, elevating the personality of the 2000T to an unsuspected plane.
For its part, the intricate design of the Appaloosa required the creation of a custom double-layer stamping, beneath which are three independent spring systems that work as one to give the body the support it deserves. No less than 37 layers of our best natural materials, crowned by an irresistible BJX Luxury mattress.
Appaloosa takes its name from the unique North American breed of horse, famous for its bright colors and irregular specks on its fur.

Herlewing means “awaken” in Afrikaans, and the choice of the name was not accidental. With three interacting spring systems and 35 layers handwoven from our best natural materials, we want to transport you to a new level of sleep and restful feeling.
Hästens Herlewing is based on the same advanced spring system as Hästens 2000T. The springs in the middle mattress are inserted one by one and react individually to pressure. The effect is extraordinary: two people sharing the same bed can each enjoy their own space, undisturbed by other people's movements.
And not only that.

When you lie down on Hästens Maranga, the feeling you get is weightlessness. This bed is the very definition of adaptable flexibility: as you sink into it, it's like your body gets a nice hug. And when you get up, the bed follows your movements to later return to its original state: firm, but soft.
In Hästens Maranga the best materials of nature are combined: horsehair, wool, cotton and linen. All of them have been combined by hand with a technique of successive layers created and perfected by ourselves.
The frame is completed with a side dot design; This detail alone has taken us two hours. Following our iconic pattern in a grid (never better said), each point has been placed exactly in its place.
Maranga comes from the Maori term for "awakening", which illustrates well the effect a single night's sleep has on this work of art.
